Site settings
When on, all visitors (except admins) see a maintenance notice on the site, API and mobile app.
Shows a banner on the main pages of the website and apps (Buy, Sell, Chats, News/Discover, Community), e.g. "Service will be paused tomorrow 2am–6am for maintenance." It does not block anything — use Maintenance mode for that. Users can close it; it shows again when you change it.
Leave the dates empty to show it as long as it is switched on. If one language is empty, the other is shown.
Sends a test notification to a user's signed-in mobile devices to verify FCM/APNs setup. Leave the box blank to send to your own devices, or enter a user id or email to target that user.
Sends a test SMS to the number above using the SMS provider currently configured on the server. Enter the number in full international format.
When on, new users must enter a phone number and verify it by SMS code before they can create an account. Helps prevent fraudulent sign-ups.
Show a “New” badge on items listed within this many hours. Set 0 to turn it off.
Recent search keywords float related items to the front of the buy page. Set days to 0 (or turn off) to disable.
Limits duplicate or spammy postings. Set either to 0 to disable that check.
Most items a buyer can page through in one search. Set 0 for no cap.
Sold listings stay on the buy page (with a “Sold” tag) for this many days, then are hidden. Set 0 to keep showing them forever.
When a listing has had no activity for this many days, the seller sees a “Renew” button that moves it back to the top. Set 0 to disable renewing.
Deleted listings keep their photos/videos for this many days so buyers keep seeing them in existing chats, then a worker reclaims the media (chat history is always kept). Set 0 to never purge.
Shown at the top of every conversation. Leave a language blank to use the built-in default.
One word or phrase per line. A news comment or listing (title or description) containing any of them is refused with an error. Chats are not filtered. English matches whole words (end with * to also catch endings, e.g. fuck* catches fucking); Chinese matches anywhere, ignoring spaces. Clear the box to turn the filter off.
Community
Off: only staff (admins and moderators) can see the Community — use this to prepare starter posts before launch.
0 = no Community push notifications on that platform yet (older app builds can't open them). Set it to the first app build that has Community. The website bell always shows them.
Shown when users share an item from the app (“Get the app”). Leave blank to use the app’s built-in default.
Shown at the top of the User Manual on the website and in the mobile apps. Paste a YouTube video link; leave blank to hide it.
App updates
Build numbers (Android versionCode / iOS build number, shown at the bottom of the app Settings). Apps older than "Latest" get a dismissible "Update available" reminder when opened; apps older than "Minimum" must update before they can be used. 0 = off.
Raise "Minimum" only when old app versions no longer work with the server.
